Your data is stored securely using Supabase (built on PostgreSQL) with row-level security policies. We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit and at rest. Authentication is handled through secure OAuth and encrypted password storage.
Conversations with our AI tutor are used to provide contextual learning support. Chat history is stored to maintain conversation continuity. AI responses are generated in real-time and tailored to your learning profile.
MyCupIsEmpty is designed for students of all ages. For users under 13, we recommend parental supervision. Parents can access their child's learning data through the parent dashboard. We collect only the minimum data necessary for educational functionality.
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You can export your learning data at any time through the settings page. To delete your account and all associated data, please contact us through the platform.
We use the following third-party services: Supabase (database & authentication), xAI/Grok (AI tutoring), and Vercel (hosting). Each service has its own privacy policy. We only share the minimum data required for these services to function.

Independent & unaffiliated. MyCupIsEmpty is an independent educational platform. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or officially recognised by CBSE, CISCE/ICSE, WBBSE, NCERT, any State Board of Education, any university, or any school.
What we offer. We help students learn general educational concepts that are publicly available as part of standard Indian school syllabi. When a student selects a board (e.g., CBSE / ICSE / WBBSE), we use that only to order topics according to the publicly-published curriculum framework — we do not reproduce or republish any board's textbooks, question papers, or proprietary content.
Not a substitute. AI-generated explanations are a supplementary learning aid, not a replacement for school, teachers, official textbooks, or formal assessment. Students should verify important information with their teachers and prescribed textbooks.
Trademarks. "CBSE", "ICSE", "CISCE", "WBBSE", "NCERT", and any state board names are the trademarks of their respective owners. Our use is strictly nominative (to describe which curriculum a student follows), not to claim association.
